Common
No foil treatment. Matte name and artwork. The most basic rarity in every booster pack.
Rare
Silver foil on the card name only. Artwork is non-holographic.
Super Rare
Holographic artwork with non-foil name.
Ultra Rare
Gold foil name + holographic artwork.
Secret Rare
Holographic artwork with diagonal secret pattern, usually silver name.
Emblazoned Ultra Rare
Ultra Rare with a large archetype or event emblem stamped on the card.
Emblazoned Secret Rare
Secret Rare with a large stamped emblem or logo.
Ultimate Rare
Gold name + holographic artwork with raised/embossed texture on the image.
Textured Rare
Modern cards with raised tactile texture on the artwork.
Ghost Rare
Faint ghostly holographic artwork with silver name. Very premium.
Starlight Rare
White/silver name with special horizontal line foil pattern across the card.
Collector’s Rare
Prismatic rainbow foil with textured patterns. Very shiny and modern.
Quarter Century Secret Rare
25th Anniversary special treatment with unique gold/silver foiling.
Gold Rare
Gold foil treatment, often with different card borders.
Premium Gold Rare
Higher quality gold foil version, usually in special sets.
Gold Secret Rare
Gold Secret Rare treatment combining gold and secret foil.
Gold Ghost Rare
Extremely rare gold version of Ghost Rare.
Platinum Rare
Metallic platinum foil treatment.
Platinum Secret Rare
Platinum foil combined with secret rare pattern.
Starfoil Rare
Star-patterned foil across the card.
Mosaic Rare
Mosaic-style foil pattern.
Shatterfoil Rare
Shattered glass style foil effect.
Parallel Rare
Dotted line foil border, common in structure decks.
Extra Secret Rare
Extra large secret rare foil pattern.
Millennium Rare
Special Millennium-themed rarity treatment.
KC Rare
Konami Card Game special rarity, often in promotional material.
Pharaoh’s Rare
Extremely rare promotional rarity, usually tournament or special edition only.
Prismatic Secret Rare
Full prismatic rainbow foil version of Secret Rare.
Short Print
Intentionally printed in lower quantities than normal Commons or Rares.
